Our story
The Van Dalen family took over Castle Da Angelo in 2021 with a clear vision — to continue its legacy as a breathtaking wedding venue while bringing a fresh level of care, creativity, and attention to detail.
What drew us to this venue was its unique character. Set at the foot of the Magaliesberg Mountains, the castle offers a rare combination of history, romance, and natural beauty. We saw the opportunity to create a space where couples could celebrate one of the most important days of their lives in a setting that feels truly special.
